New STE 1/4 mile times

Went to the track last night (Bandimeere- in Denver Co)              elevation 5300 ft.

25th run in the car (had not gotten better than 16.49 before)
16.17

26th run
16.15

27th run
15.98 (new best) :D  dont know what that translates to @ sea level.
2004 GTP -  3.8 Blown - Only modding for MPG.
1997 GTP  - 3.8 Blown - Too many mods to list.
1996 GTP - 3.4 DOHC - Twin to my 1997.
1995 SE - soon to be a 3.8 turbo car.
1990 TSTE x 2 white cloth
1990 TSTE x 1 maroon leather
1990 TGP - 5 speed.

I was told once that shaving a second off your time at Bandimere would be pretty close to what you run at sea level.

The "corrected" time slip might be 15.396. I got this formula from somewhere? I think its from Hot Rod..    Time*0.9635=corrected ET

Thanks....was looking for the conversion.  propelling my 3840 LB car is getting frustrating.  hopefully my TGP will weigh less,m and with the internal engine / turbo mods....hope to be in the 14's at altitude.

Current mods on STE
-chipped
-crossover
-hi-flow cat
-walker turbo mufflers
-"matched" 22 lb injectors
-I/C mod
-TB bypass
-K&N
-Synthetics
-Poly dogbones
-NKG plugs gapped @ .40


Was running 100 octaine (4 gal)
front tires @ 25 psi / rears @ 40 psi
stripped all excess weight, floor mats, spare tire, jack, etc.

Launched @ 2500 rpms, slight heessitation shifting from 1st to 2nd (trans cable adj should fix that)

cooled to 100 degrees before each run.

That chart does not even go up to the 5800 ft elevation (just noticed)

launch @ 1800-2000 rpms - when I launched @2500 I spun 1st,2nd and 3rd... the 1800, is my best launch rpm, but the easyist to do is 2000 as you know exactly where it is each time when the tree stages...
