How do I remove/replace the hood release lever? The one on my tgp is broken and I would like to move the one from my old grand prix into the broken release's place. I see how to release the cable but i can't tell how to remove the pin that the lever rotates around... anybody have any ideas?

You should be able to remove the whole thing.  I can't remember off hand, but I think after you remove the cover it is like two screws.  Have been wrong once before though.

I was thinking I should be able to also but the carpeting won't pull back far enough to find any screws.

move the seat back all the way then tke a "stubby" crosstip / phillips and undue the two screws.  The plastic cover will come off.  If y9ou want to change the actual lever, then you must remove the cable end.
