This might sound like a stupid question but where is the battery location on a 1990 tgp. i am planning on buying one and i didnt see where the battery was. i could not see it in the engine compartment

Same place as a normal GP. It's on the drivers side against the front of the engine bay. The windshield washer resorvoir is mounted over it on the TGP though.

There may also be a cover/insulator over the battery that makes it hard to see.  There should be holes to let the terminals poke through, though, if you look under the windshield washer reservoir.
