Well, I finally got around to looking at my fan, and it's wobbling quite terribly.  SO today I pulled it and went to Advanced auto to ask about getting a new motor.  They told me they would have to order it and IT WAS 166 FRIGGIN BUCKS.  Good God Almighty.  Is this common?  They also said if it was a stock fan motor (Not a threaded shaft) I would have to buy a different blade as well.  Well, I didn't get a price on the blade, but there's no damn way I'm gonna pay that much for a fan motor.  Looks like the j/y, but I would really like a new one if I can get it cheaper.

Good luck at the junkyard. This is a high speed high power fan motor. So for motors of this size, yes the price is about right. And what they said is true about the blade.

did you try the other parts stores?  I remember pep boys had a fan listed for 60 something, but that could have been for the n/a.

Ditch the whole setup entirely!  Install a Perma cool #19114. It's 2950cfm and installs directly to the radiator with nylon thru ties and does a oustanding job. Make sure you get a "puller" flow.

I'll look around and see I have a set of Puller GP fans at my house {if my ex didnt do something with them like she did with my extra STE headlights} ...I wont be back untill the weekend to check though....
