I'm am slowly going to part out a Turbo Grand Prix and list the parts on eBay.  The car itself is a '90 2 door, red with tan interior with 138K miles.  The stereo, hood, and motor are already taken.  The motor's for me to drop into one of my '89 Pontiac 6000 STE All-Wheel Drives ;)  The HUD is gone as well, but I still have the dash pad and controls for it.  It looks like it has a brand new master cylinder, the rims are in excellent shape, and the interior (not leather) looks great.  I'm going to rig the "Intercooled Turbo" to light up on the gauge cluster before I sell that.  The intercooler and radiator will be going up on eBay very shortly.  I have 2 emblems on there right now.  One was already missing.  I will be taking offers on any misc. parts, so if you have a wish list, e-mail it to me along with a range of what you're willing to pay for the parts.

Can I ask why you are parting it out?

RareGMFan

I was looking for a Turbo 3.1 complete motor and ended up buying the entire car.  It was a parts car when I got it.  The guy I bought it from took the cross-over pipe.  There's something wrong with the brakes.  The brake pedal does not move what-so-ever!  The previous owner invested $1000 trying to figure out the problem, but never came to a solution.  He said that the master cylinder is new.  And from the looks of it, he's not lying.  I had to tow the car from Indiana to Illinois.  But I don't currently have a TGP, so I don't have any interest in the rest of the parts right now.

I take it this is Deckron(spelling), Erich and Daves friend from Chicago.  This is Tim their buddy from Central IL who just got the Turbo Grand prix.  I want to get with ya on what you would maybe want for the radiator.  I know where a parts car is, just not sure if it's made it out of the hold section yet.

Oh and Dave and I bid your emblems up to 6 cents last night.  The auction could get ugly

How much do you want for that intercooler? My email is WS6TASY@Zoominternet.net :D

hottweelz_gp

Sounds crazy, but I very much need a cruise control/signal lever, and the cluster panel (is it digital) ... um how much for most interior parts too?

RareGMFan

Sorry for the late response, guys.  I thought I was suppose to get automatic e-mails when there's a response to the post.  Let's see here...

hotwheelz_gp - I still have most of the interior parts.  I've got the lever, but you're best off getting a new one of those.  Most of the lettering is rubbed off on mine, and just about any one you'll find out there.  Give me a list of what you need, and I can get you some prices.  Drop me an e-mail: ste6000awd@msn.com

Tim - Yes, this is Dave and Erich's pal, D'kron.  Erich mentioned you may need some things off the car.  Let me know when you want to take a look at it.  Just one problem with the radiator.  I already sold the intercooler on eBay, and the guy who bought it, along with a ton of other people, have asked for the radiator as well.  I told the guy who won the intercooler auction that it would be going up for sale on eBay very shortly and that I would hold off on shipping the IC till he had a chance to win the radiator.

If anyone needs anything else, just let me know.  I'm looking to have this thing completly stripped in another month.  It's in my bosses wharehouse, and he doesn't want it there for long.

I want the air dam off the front if it's not busted up already.
Also what do you want for the rims?
And a price on the master cylinder?

Quote from: 6000STE/AWDat it.  Just one problem with the radiator.  I already sold the intercooler on eBay, and the guy who bought it, along with a ton of other people, have asked for the radiator as well.

Whats with the big demand for the radiator?

The master cylinder is sold already to a local TGP owner.  The front air damn was missing when I bought it, and the rims look like they're reconditioned, so I'm most likely going to put those on eBay and see what they'll fetch.

Chris A-

Isn't there some kind of outrages price tag on the radiator?  And you can't get it anymore.  I've had lot's of people doing custom turbo 3.1 installs into various cars contact me because this radiator is way better than the regular W-body ones.

Yeah it is better. I posted it elsewhere around here, but the last I checked the radiator was still available. I haven't actually tried to get one because GM list is $2100 and AC Delco cost is around $1300. I asked if they were coming up as still available and they both said yes. So short of buying one they are still available. If figured that if you already HAD a tgp, you could get your radiator reconditioned.  However, I didn't realize there were so many guys wanting to upgrade. Unless they were trying to copy the turbo gp exactly (in which case I would think  the donor car had one) I wouldn't think there would be much need for the TGP radiator. You could probably have a 3.4TDC w body radiator (two core full width aluminum) modified if need be to a three core. The TGP radiator would need to either have the upper radiator support, or custom mounting made (not a big deal if your already doing a conversion). However, I would think that with the extra width of the 3.4 TDC rad, and its two row design it would be sufficient and be an easier mount/fit.

Carl-

As I mentioned in the original post, the car is red, and the entire hood is already gone.

I still have the DIC, but it is a 90.  Wouldn't it be the same as yours?
