Slight ticking sound???

What could cause a slight ticking sound coming from the motor?

Lifter, valve, rocker?

Try using a long screwdriver, run engine, then place on block at several areas while holding the handle to your ear, or use another suitable item that can transmit the noise. Hopefully you can localize it. Good luck
