It again runs like crap.  :(  Low throttle it is fine, but as soon as I get into it, it runs into a wall.  Doesnt want to let the rpm's climb at all.  :(  Plus I can smell it running way too rich a lot more too.  :(  Just started today after school.  Before school my baby was running awesome.  After school... it runs like ass.  :(

Always something with this damn car.  :(  Maybe it will fix itself?   :(

Zach...

Do you have the new style cross-over? How old is your O2 sensor? When was the last time you ran a quality fuel injector cleaner through a tank of gas (not the little bottle of alcohol you can get at 7-11)? Go to NAPA and get the little metal can of BK Fuel injector cleaner...that shit is the best out there!

You say you are running good first thing in the morning going to school (car is cool in temp, so is outside) then when you leave school it runs like shit (outside temp is hotter, start temp of car is hotter) you may have a bad temp sensor, fuel pump is failing with warmer ambient temps. Fuel pressure regulator may not work well when incoming fuel is hotter. You may want to swing by a GM dealer and have them hook up a scan tool when the car is hot and see if you are getting goofy readings.

These cars are very tempermental with the slightest change sometimes!

Hey Pilot...

Thanks for the reply.

Well... I havent run any fuel injector cleaner through the car at all yet.  Maybe I'll stop by A-Zone tomarrow and pick up some.

Crossover is still factory (i know it is leaking), but it has been leaking now for a while, and still ran ok.  It just started acting really wacky.  O2 is the same as far as I know also... but I dont think it is bad.  Just had it on the MT2500 scanner here at school, and it was switching as it should have been.  To be honest... I really didnt see terrible readings on anything.

Nevertheless... it still runs like crap, and is definately not normal.  But I never thought about the FPR... that may be something I should look at.

   :(  I hate to keep driving the car when it is running like this, but it's my only mode of transportation.   :(

Thanks for the info...

Zach

ps... if anyone has anythign else that may help me out, PLEASE post!  Thanks!  :)

NAPA....go to NAPA and ask for the BK fuel injector cleaner. All of the shit you will find in Vato-Zone is Alcohol based. Do not get into the boost at all while you have Alcohol based Fuel Injector cleaner in your tank!

Obsessed is the lazy mans word for dedication.

I have always had bad luck with the cheap FI cleaner. I was told by a turbo savy professional that alcohol in a boost situation can cause major major problems. I was drunk at the time of the conversation so I don't remember the ins and outs of alcohol in the system with boost... 8)
