Agreed.  I check the forum at least once a day.  It's a surprise to find anything new.  I have been doing a little here and there on mine, hopefully I will be doing more this spring.  I'll post some.  I am more active on the W-Body forum.  Seems like no one would notice if I posted here.  :-(

All of us generally post on w-body as well. Honestly it would be ideal if this would could be merged w/ the other and have all the info carry over to the TGP section there, but I'm not sure that's possible.

Is your name over there the same as here? I can resolve your password issue soon as you let me know.  ;)

I like this site because it's TGP specific.  It would be good to see more traffic on here.  W-Body is good, but there is a lot of stuff there that's just interesting, but has little or no relevance to the TGP.  I have trouble getting pics to upload on this one.

redgrandprix

i use this site mainly for reference like an encyclopedia of the TGP

Heartbeat1991

It is definitely good for that.  But I enjoy seeing new stuff too.

I agree .  should have a "project/ build" section,  that would liven the place right up.

Well on my Black TGP I have soldered the broken wires for the seat adjustments for the AQ9 section, I routed a newer radio antenna wire and replaced the power antenna unit with one that works, getting ready to change the oil, and also prepping to paint the lower valance I scored last year at a junkyard.

The sad part is I found that car and we went to get him that air dam.  It was froma 92 GTP in Maui Blue with no joke 68K miles.  I really wish we could have bought the car she was pristine.

Very true the car in the yard was in much better shape then some of the cars I own. Also that car had a factory rear defrost delete.

Knock Knock, Hello TGPForums. Long time no post. I figured I would drop a line and see if anyone still comes here. Update on how things are going for my TGPs in my fleet of cars, The Black 90 that I have had for 6years now is still a daily driver sitting with about 207000 miles, I and just recently finally found the brake leak that had plagued the braking system since I have owned it. I haven't done much else at this point other than basic maintenance. I have picked up a turbo blanket and down pipe wrap that still needs to be installed. I bought LED headlights ( low and high beams) for it and they are amazing to use.

On the down side my Red 89 has been down for about 3 years do to a mistake I made while trying to do an upgrade, plus job changes funds and all of the other things life threw at me I have decided I am going to pull the plug on it and hope I can put all the good parts towards my First TGP.

So if I stop getting pulled in every other direction to work on everything else I will make some progress before the snow flies.

I still check here pretty often.  It's always a pleasant surprise to see something new.

My black 90 gets driven about 100 miles a month or so.  My red 89 is waiting for me to figure out the wiring problem.
