Hey guys,
Looking to score some info. I have a 1992 Grand Prix SE (2door) in a 5spd transmission with the 3.4L 24v DOHC engine. I looking at a possible turbo or supercharger, but unsure what to do.

Im pushing out around 210hp and 215lbs torque .. Does anyone know if I can turbo / supercharge my car ..

Am I better off dropping in the 3.1L SOHC turbo charged?

Any comments or suggestions would be great ..

Thanks,
Jay

sure you can....

Turbo
Piping including  a custom cross over and manifolds.
intercooler
better oil pump
Prom Work
wesgate
low res mufflers.

would cost from 1000-3500 to do though....
not bad you would probly see a 50-75HP increase with just alittle T3 turbo.... @ 8 psi pump that up to 10-12 you would be nutz with out rebuilding your tranny and you would probably see 75-100hp with the Right set up

Still have the motor and trans hope to use it or sell it some day.

I would leave the 3.4 in and mod it from there.  Aren't the 3.4/5 speeds pretty rare?

You probably knew this, but there is no 3.1L SOHC Turbo.  It's a good old Pushrod motor.  8)
