Been daily driving my Black 90 off and on the past few years it now needs a radiator it has a steady leak and will need to address it.

I have noticed but I wouldn't know what to do about it.

I don't know about the 2.8s I meant the 3.1s went up to 92

I think 88 to 93ish 2.8 should work. I might have a spare laying around I can look for it some time this week.

Yes I believe so. Hell you can use the regular 3.1 intake plenum as well. Plus if you wanted, there are threads on doing a 3100 top swap with both the intake and heads to gain more mechanical H.P.

Knock Knock, Hello TGPForums. Long time no post. I figured I would drop a line and see if anyone still comes here. Update on how things are going for my TGPs in my fleet of cars, The Black 90 that I have had for 6years now is still a daily driver sitting with about 207000 miles, I and just recently finally found the brake leak that had plagued the braking system since I have owned it. I haven't done much else at this point other than basic maintenance. I have picked up a turbo blanket and down pipe wrap that still needs to be installed. I bought LED headlights ( low and high beams) for it and they are amazing to use.


    On the down side my Red 89 has been down for about 3 years do to a mistake I made while trying to do an upgrade, plus job changes funds and all of the other things life threw at me I have decided I am going to pull the plug on it and hope I can put all the good parts towards my First TGP.


So if I stop getting pulled in every other direction to work on everything else I will make some progress before the snow flies.

July 3 Midnight Mayhem went Okay I hit 14.6 after pulling all but the drives seat. I wasn't able to get the Racing seat out of my 89 to put in so I still had the heavy driver seat. I need to budget to get a bigger turbo from Flybynite. I just notice I have amazing acceleration with first and second gear but it just levels off way too much in third, a trait I have noticed between both cars.

I read a little about the HIRs I then watched a few videos on Youtube and wasn't too impressed with the output. If you seen my video I turned off my nightvision for the duration of the drive and you can see pretty good. On the HIR videos they seemed as bright as my highbeams.

As far as your leds not being bright enough. You do need to read into the lumens and light temps. For example I found some 9006 bulbs that were like $20 but they were only 30 watts at 720lumens and read fog lights only. the ones I have linked are are 3600 lumens and still run 30watts. So if anything see if you can find old receipts and check the numbers.

both runs were 14.8 I didn't get around to shedding any weight. I gotta take a pic of the second slip but it I need to put them trough picassa to upload them to this site.

I never got around to posting these back when I took them but Here is my black one after getting its new valance painted and installed.

I have had the same issue it went away when I replaced the nitrogen ball. Only problem I ran into is I waited way to long to get one and now I have a leak in the pm3 itself and half to keep filling it with brake fluid. I would suggest if you could have it professionally replaced some how I kinda know what I am doing and still messed it up.

How has your car been doing man haven't heard much lately?

Very true the car in the yard was in much better shape then some of the cars I own. Also that car had a factory rear defrost delete.
