I was on my way home today, and decided to stop at a huge j/y that I drive past every weekend.  I go through the lot, and find the bunch of grand prix's.  About 4 white 89 SE's... one with the tan interior.  A Black 93 GTP, 3 SE's with the B4U, and various 4-doors.  And then I about shit myself...
the car farthest to the northwest corner of the 'gp lot' was a white 4 door.  saw the rear end, and started towards it.  as I got closer, I saw the hood was open... and LARGE vents were missing.  Look inside, and it had some wierd grey leather seats.  moonroof.  dash was gone, and to be honest... the interior was pretty messy.   The engine compartment was empty unfortunately.  The drivers side door was gone, but the passenger side door was there.  I saw where the badge used to be and I immediatly knew that it was a Turbo STE.  Looked at the VIN on the dash, in the trunk, and on what was left of the hood, and all of them had 1G5WT54V9LF297850 .  Notice the engine code... :)

The really awkward thing about this car... it had a 5-speed in it.  The trans wasnt on the car anymore, and neither was the shifter, but the shifter plate was one from a 5-speed.

Found that a little odd. :?:  Anybody have any ideas on the car?

Oh yeah... you know how the Turbo motors intake systems are mostly made up of a wierd cloth like tubing?  I found the one that goes from the stock airbox to the fender hole sitting in the back seat.

I'm thouroughly confused.   :?:   Anybody have a carfax account that would like to run that VIN?  I'd like to know the history on it.

Like I said... almost the entire car was stripped... but interesting to say the least.

No1kicker...have the center portion of the light bar, not in the greatest shape (Missing the STE black round portion)  could use a good polishing, $25.00 to you on the East coast.

Fellas....still looking for an leather interior for mine.   Cost estimate to get my seats recovered..(sit down) $1100.00.

Also looking for the 4 grey reflectors for inside of the doors.
